Field Managers

If you would like to manage a field with fellow referees for the tournament, please state so in the comment section of the application.

Requirements for being a field manager:

  1. Must be 22 years of age.
  2. Have 12 years of referee experience (have refereed U-19 and above level games).
  3. Current USSF certified and available all 4 days of the tournament from start to finish.

The advantage of being a field manager is that you can assign yourself additional games and make extra money.  You can either pick your own crew or be assigned a crew to work with.  Usually, a crew consists of a minimum 8 referees that manage the field.

More details will be provided once you have been approved to manage a field.

Uniforms

All referees MUST have proper uniforms for the tournament (see list below).  No referees will be allowed to referee games without the proper referee equipment.  If you are an AR only, you must provide your own set of flags.

Proper Referee Gear:

  1. Current referee shirts (minimum of 3 jersey colors: Yellow, Green, and Black)
  2. Solid black shorts (no stripes)
  3. Solid black socks (with 2- or 3-white stripes)
  4. black shoes ( brand markings okay)

Once you have been selected, you will be notified of your field assignments.  You MUST show up 30 minutes before the first scheduled game.  If you are late and have not notified the referee coordinator 15 minutes prior to the start of a game, you will forfeit your referee position for that scheduled game.
