5/09 Joel I just wanted to extend a thanks to you and Henry for the time you took last evening to explain the situation and follow-up in a timely manner. I know it is many times a thankless job for all the hard work you and the rest of the group put in to pull off such a immense event and there are always going to be issues and questions. This was the first year my team has come to the Grove United Tournament and I was impressed with the quality of the entire weekend. Thanks for the job well done and I look forward to coming back again next year. Mike
5/09 ... the tournament this weekend seemed to run so beautifully. Great facility - parking really not an issue, great concessions, never a shortage of bathrooms - the whole event seemed very well run. So please pass along my thanks to the Board/committee as I can well appreciate the herculean efforts that go in to running such a massive event.
5/08 Now that I have a few moments to take a breather, I would like to share with you and your tournament staff what a great experience I had at the Grove Shootout with my three boys teams. The atmosphere was wonderful. This was made possible by the volunteers who really made us feel both welcomed and important. I've been to enough tournaments to distinguish between sincerity and simply accommodating, and your folks were definitely sincere in ensuring that our experience was top-notch. You can expect me to bring my teams back and to alert the rest of the Lindenhurst Area Soccer Club that an excellent tournament is not too far away. As you know, I have always enjoyed our competitive rivalry on the field, but there's no better feeling than having all my parents commend me on my choice of tournaments and mingling with the Grove parents and sharing something special. Thanks for making it wonderful and next year we expect to be back and playing you guys tough again! Mark
