Grove United Juniors Fall & Winter Soccer Program (Ages 6-9)

Grove United Juniors is an introduction to travel soccer by the Grove United Soccer Association for boys and girls ages 6-9. Using Certified Coaches from Grove United, we will teach the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending in a semi-competitive environment.

Since Community is a big part of Grove United coaching philosophy, it’s our goal to make sure all soccer players in our community have access to high quality training that’s challenging and fun!

FALL PROGRAM

The Fall Program includes one practice per week for 8 weeks and some weekend small-sided games with travel soccer clubs with similar programs. Game schedules will be handed out after the 1st week of practice. Participants will receive a Grove United T-shirt and water bottle.

Dates: September 7 - November 2
(no sessions Sept 28, Oct 7, and Oct 31)

Practices: Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:30

Location: Willow Stream Park

Fee: $120

WINTER PROGRAM

The Winter Program will include one practice per week and one game per week; format is 5 v 5. All games are played on Sundays at JCYS in Buffalo Grove between 3:00 - 6:00pm. Practices will be Mondays from 5:00 – 6:00pm at the Buffalo Grove Golf Dome and Sports Center in Buffalo Grove. The season starts the week of January 2 through Mid March; 12 weeks. Participants will receive a Grove United T-shirt. No Practice on 1/16, 2/20, 3/5 and No Game on 2/12 due to holidays.

Dates: January 2 - Mid March

Games: Sundays 3:00 - 6:00 @ JYCS

Practices: Mondays 5:00 - 6:00 @ BG Golf Dome

Location: JCYS 1700 Weiland Road Buffalo Grove

Fee: $180
